An 8 mile walk around Stocks Reservoir, would be better with drier conditions underfoot, quite muddy in places An information board detailing the lost village of Stocks in Bowland. The route goes North and someway beyond the reservoir before returning onthe other side This bridge is "officially closed due to storm damage, but it seemed OK to me The track now leads on to open moorland The path drops in to the valley to cross the River Hodder The Hodder valley A footbridge !!
