This walk is best described a "good excercise. Other than that a pretty dull ramble across barren and wet moorland. ![]() Climbing on to the moors above Crawshawbooth ![]() And the view behind ![]() following the Rossendale Way ![]() Clowbridge Reservoir comes in to view ![]() and then onward across the damp and barren moors ![]() The sun makes an appearance and brightens up the whole aspect ![]() Heading towards the village of Lumb ![]() following the Pennine Bridleway ![]() Descending to Lumb ![]() Stream ambling into the village ![]() The impressive but now unused Church in Lumb ![]() The paths across the moors where absolutely wet through, and its the end of summer. Going to be like swamp in winter ![]() Dropping off the moors and back to Crawshawbooth ![]() The village approaches ![]() Crashawbooth ![]() Main road through the village Back to top of page |
