A spring walk over great Hill
April 2018.

Finally after what seems to be the longest winter in history, a fine Spring day and a chance to walk over my favourite local hill. Great Hill from White Coppice.

Blue Skys and pleasant sunshine at last

Climbing on to the moors

Great Hill ahead, from Coppice Stile

The old breached, reservoir wall

Grat Hill from Drinkwaters Farm ruins

Memorial bench at Drinkwaters

Great Hill summit. A pleasure to be back here

An old lead mine addit alongside Dean Black Brook

A convergance of streams along the valley of Dean Black Brook

The old dissused quarry above White Coppice

Dean Black Brook tumbles over the falls

Glorios blue sky, what a difference it makes !!!

Back in to White Coppice and Sprinf has arrived.
